My head was spinning by the time those three left.
What has happened today:
1)Three strangers claim to be my guardian angels.
2) I decided they could stay instead of giving them out (again, what was I thinking?)
3) That Alex boy kissed me (I still don't believe his claim of CPR).
Maybe breakfast will help me not go crazy. I walked down the stars a little light-headed.
"Hi, Mom. What's for breakfast?" I asked.
"Something special! Angel pancakes! I know you love them!" she said gleefully. Angel...
"Um...I'm not very hungry," I said. I raced up the stairs, ran inside my room, and slammed the door. My God.
Damn.
I flopped on my bed and sighed. My whole life has changed in thirty minutes. And I don't know what to do.
Just then, Alex, Starla, and Jen appeared. Fuck. They were all wet. They walked inside not caring they were soaking wet.
"YOU'RE DRIPPING WET!!" I yelled.
"Hi! Want some apples?" Jen asked, "You were right, Alex, these are delicious..."
"Why are you wet?!" I said, a bit more calmly.
"Long story including Alex killing a bunny, a fat cop chasing us and almost crashing into a fountain," Starla said. I gaped.
"Just dry up!" I said. I looked over to Jen and Alex. Jen was on fire.
"Jen!" I yelled. How? What the fuck happened?
"Oh, yes, you don't know. I'm an elemental angel. Expert on the elements. Such as fire," she explained.
"And being a dryer on the go," Alex pointed.
"What happened?" I asked. Suddenly, the TV in my room changed to Good Morning America. Jen pointed. Did she do that?
"In Meadowcraft Park, the FBI is still investigating the mystery of the broken fountain. Two police officers were seen next to a broken fountain, dripping wet. They seem to have amnesia of the incident that happened. Investigators have asked bystanders but it seems that they have no memory of what happened in the past hour. A broken cart was seen next to the fountain in Pittsburgh. Investigators are thinking about supernatural creatures in the area, so please beware of you see anything unnatural. Stanley, back to you," the reporter said. The TV shut off.
"Jen..." I said.
"That was me," she admitted, "I have the powers of the elements, remember? Lightning or electricity is one."
"What...?" I said. My head was spinning.
"Try an apple. You seem stressed," Alex offered. I through the apple at my bathroom door. Apple juice spurted out.
"You crashed into a fountain!" I yelled in disbelief.
"We didn't crash into it. The cops did," Starla said.
"What?" I screamed.
"Just try an apple," Alex said.
"I don't want one!" I yelled over the rumbling of my stomach, "And after smashing into a fountain and hijacking a fucking golf cart, all you care about are apples?!" My mouth hung open. No, seriously, I couldn't close my mouth.
"Say 'aah'," Starla said as she tossed and apple slice in my mouth. My mouth could move again. I chewed. I swallowed and my eyes sparkled.
"They're delicious," I squealed.
"And she's over it now," Alex said. Jen giggled.
"I can hear you, you know," I muttered.
"We had some roasted rabbit too. Jen's a good cook," Starla said. Jen looked away. I bit into another apple.
"Hey," I asked.
"Hmm?" Alex responded.
"Next time you go stealing for apples, killing bunnies, and crashing into a fountain, take me with you," I said as I smiled. They smiled back.
"Gladly," Starla said.

Chapter 8 ~ Alex
I would have teased Starla and Jen about Mr. Bunny's death, but the guards were after us and I couldn't afford to lose my energy.
I wish we could use our wings. We travel much faster faster with them on. No one can travel 200 mph on foot. It would be helpful, but humans are here. No use risking our secrets. Unlike OneRepublic.
I was ahead in the Cops v.s. Angels game and Starla and Jen were right on my tail. The guards took our guns and got ready to fire. One gun was aiming at Starla. Normally, I would have let him fire without warning, but, even though I hate to admit, she's one of my best friends.
"Starla! Duck!" I yelled. The bullet whizzed over her head and into a tree. People from the park screamed and ran around like idiots.
Welcome to our world.
I jumped over a park bench with the girls behind me. The buff guard climbed over it and shot. The fat one almost tripped over it. The shot at the same time. It didn't hit us, thankfully. We ran down the path and saw an old man in his golf cart. I pushed him off and waved sorry. Starla and Jen scrambled on. I hit the gas and the gold cart ran.
The cops didn't give up. They found a motorcycle and slid on (well, Fatty sort of hung over the edge). Then they whirred toward us.
Oh, shit. Motorcycles are faster than golf carts.
"Go faster, idiot!" Starla yelled.
"This is as fast as it can go!" I yelled back.
"Jen, try to jumpstart the engine!" Starla yelled. Jen searched until she found the engine. Jen's power: elemental magic. So that's water, fire, air, earth, lightning, and metal. The rest are unknown. Elemental magic has unknown powers even the Light Council doesn't know about. Anyway, she summoned the lightning power slightly and touched the wires. They sparked wildly and the cart lurched forward. The speedometer cracked. Yes! The motorcycle was speeding up though. I looked at Starla who was grinning at Jen and then slightly smiling at me. That's new. Then, her eyes were filled with terror.
"ALEX! The fountain!!!" she screamed. I looked back on the road and saw we were barreling straight into a fountain. Bystanders shrieked and headed for cover. I turned sharply to the right and safely avoiding the fountain, pulling up a few bricks on the path. I heard Jen sigh in relief.
The cops had a different story. They rammed straight into the fountain. The bystanders screamed even louder and ran away. Water spurted everywhere along with chances of cement and limestone. We pushed the cart to the side and watched the whole array. When everyone left, we checked on the cops.
"Knocked out. Starla and Jen, you probably will need to wipe out the memory of everyone in the park in the past hour," I said.
"Everyone?! That's more than 300!" Jen shrieked.
"It's for the safety of angels!" Starla said. Jen and I looked at her in surprise. She glared back at us.
"Well, duh! If angels like us come into "America's Breaking News", we're dead! I can't believe I'm saying this...but, Alex is right. I'll help you, even though its not my specialty," Starla blurted out. I couldn't believe it. Usually, Starla would say the opposite of what it is.
"Well?!" she thundered. She pulled Jen next to her and she yelped in surprise. Soon, a white aura surrounded them. Memory Wipe. I decided to help. Soon, everything that everyone had was in my head. Pushing the old man off the cart. Bullets whizzing above Starla's head. Almost crashing into the fountain. My head throbbed and I could tell the girls' did too. It's painful absorbing the memories of others. I saw other memories too. A man jogging. Some old lady feeding the birds. And a...woman taking a bath... I think I might have turned red.
I panted, "Done." Jen and Starla were on the verge to collapse. All in a morning's job.
"Get ready to see this news report on "Good Morning America"," Jen smirked. Then, we took off in silence.

Character Status and Author's Notes 1
Age: 14
Birthdate: 4/21/98
Skill: None, unless you call bad luck a skill.
Hobbies: Poker
Likes: Ramen, Rice Balls
Dislikes: Bad Luck, Perverts
Affiliation: Mt. Lebanon High School
Notes: Lucy seems to be a small character at the moment. Right now, I'm focusing on Alex, Jen, and Starla. Funny how I thought of her name. My brother was asking how to spell "lucky" and I spelled it. I looked at it and he forgot the "k" and it spelled "lucy" instead. I blinked but told him to add the end. So, I decided to write and stuff and Lucy was the name. Lucy. Lucy Cross!
Name: Starla el Bridget
Age (Human): 14
Birthdate (Human): 12/11/98
Skill: It's a surprise!
Hobbies: Cussing
Likes: Bunnies, Ice Cream
Dislikes: Alex Hagane, Dark Angels
Affiliation: Light Angels, Team Lucy
Notes: Starla seems to be this though badass character, but she's really nice inside. She's a blondie, but on't call her that. She hates being called that. It's about impossible to tell what an angel's real age and birthdate so I'm going to stick with the human years. Her love of bunnies comes from her past. It was her only friend for a VERY long time. Mostly because she pretty much cussed everyone out in the class.
Name: Alex Hagane
Age (Human): 14
Birthdate (Human): 9/22/98
Skill: It's a surprise!
Hobbies: Listening to Music
Likes: Bazookas, Spears
Dislikes: Starla el Bridget, Books
Affiliation: Light Angels, Team Lucy
Notes: Alex is that cool guy with the blonde hair. He's very sarcastic and usually acts before he thinks. He has ADHD. Alex got his iPod when he was two and played the violin when he was three. He's been playing every since. His favorite artists are OneRepublic, Train, Usher, and Pitbull. He hates Justin Bieber (a good thing). His love of bazookas started when he was looking up pictures of weapons.
Name: Jennifer Gomez (call her Jen!)
Age (Human): 14
Birthdate (Human): 2/12/98
Skill: It's a surprise!
Hobbies: Reading
Likes: Books
Dislikes: Drunk People
Affiliation: Light Angels, Team Lucy
Notes: Jen is the bookworm, but she can get really angry at some times. She's really fucked off by Alex's and Starla's fighting. She always curls up with a book and when she sees a book she hasn't read, she'll read it, even right in a battle. Jen isn't weak at all, for all you people who think. Jen's working on a novel on her own right now. She's a more likable character and easier to get along with.
Name: Arianna Arcenas (me!)
Age: Not Telling
Birthday: 5/27
Skill: Writing and Drawing and Music and Cooking...
Hobbies: Look above.
Likes. Look above.
Dislikes: Perverts
Affiliation: School
Notes: ME!!!!! I'm not a character, but here's some of my stuff. I don't want to give any personal information right now. ME!!!!!
Chapter 7 ~ Jennifer
Starla and Alex rubbed their ears after I dragged them up the roof. Who knew carrying two angels could be heavy?
"Anything you have to say for yourselves?" I growled.
"I'm hungry..." Alex whined.
"Well, too bad, we have no food, idiot. Now SHUT UP!" Starla yelled.
"Be quiet!" I hissed. Starla glared at me, but I didn't back down. Starla could never hurt me. I pushed her away.
"Alex, we have no money," I pointed.
"Then, why don't we just go to a park? I saw some apple trees in there and apples are yummy. Plus, they're healthy. We can pick a few," Alex said.
"No way. I am not scavenging for food like a filthy beggar," Starla retorted.
"Suit yourself. C'mon, Jen, lets get going," Alex said. I looked back at Starla, but followed Alex. I was hungry anyway. Starla looked pained.
"Hey! Wait up!" she yelled as she flew next to us.

"Let's land in that abandoned alley over there," I said. We did a smooth landing and folded in our wings. Then, we walked out. Everyone's eyes were on us. I wonder if it was because we just came out from an alley or there are rats in our hair.
We made it to the park feeling fresh. Starla didn't seem that impressed and Alex was focusing on his breakfast. I saw the beautiful meadow's lush green grass and the trees many colors of red, orange, and brown.
"It's beautiful..." I gushed.
"And I'm hungry. Let's hurry," Alex said. We walked off the path and wandered around until Starla's nose hit the scent of apples. Yes, Starla has enhanced eyesight and hearing. Great parts to a warrior.
"Oh, look guys! A rabbit!" Starla said. Oh, shit. Her weaknesses. Bunnies. Ice cream. And possibly her breasts.
"Great! We can eat it," Alex said. Starla and I were ready to slap him.
"Are you that cold hearted, you bastard!?" Starla yelled. Alex just went on picking apples.
"Jen, go kill it," Alex said. Me?
"NO! We will keep him and call him Mr. Bunny," Starla said. The rabbit looked terrified. Maybe it could understand human language.
"Jen, do it now!" Alex said. Starla looked at Alex. She was shaking in anger. I could feel the presence of Eros raising from her body. She couldn't move, though. Not with the rabbit in her hands. Alex looked at her and grabbed a sharpened rock. The bunny was absolutely paralyzed in fear.
"I won't kill it. I promise," Alex said. His looks were sincere. Starla stopped, but dropped the rabbit. The bunny was passed out from fear. Alex stroked the rabbit and then shoved it on his neck. Starla was trembling and crying silently.
"Now, help me with the fire, Jen. Starla go find some blueberries. Steal some from Farmer's Market or something," Alex said.
"How could you!" I yelled.
"My stomach is making the runblies," Alex said.
"Alex!" I yelled.
"Only rabbits could satisfy it," Alex said.
"Um...looks that we won't be getting those blueberries soon. Alex, pack the apples and the bunny," Starla growled.
"Why-oh, fuck," Alex said.
"Hey, you three! You're under arrest for breaking into private property!" a gruff man in a uniform said. A fat cop was behind him.
That's when we took off.

Chapter 6 ~ Starla
"So, can you guys please leave?" Lucy asked.
"We can't leave, Lucy," I said, "Wait, we can't leave, right Jen?"
"Section 3, Rule 42: Once he or she has approval of Headmaster and has reached his or her subject, they are to stay with him or her until age 22," Jen read from her pocket guide.
"We can't leave. Not until you're 22," Alex said.
"Wait, why are you guys even here? Are you shitty kidnappers?" Lucy retorted.
"No, and don't call us that, because we're your guardian angels," Jen said.
"You wished for something on your birth time, right? So now we're here because we're supposed to help you until age 22, the ending point of childhood," I explained.
"You're with me for that long? 8 years? I'm only 14!" she yelled.
"So, good luck trying to get rid of us," Alex sighed.
"I can't believe this! I have to tell-" Lucy started.
"NO! You can't tell anyone about us!" I yelled. Don't ask why, don't ask why, don't ask why, don't-
"Why?" Lucy asked. Fuck you.
"Because we disappear from existence," Jen said.
"So...?"
"We won't be able to help you?" I tried.
"And...?"
"You'll live a horrible life and your future will have darkness, lies, and a painful death. Along with your parents betrayal for money reasons, bad luck continuing, and...you'll be an international kidnapper. So, you're gonna tell or not?" Alex said. Lucy cracked.
"Fine. You can stay, but not in my room. If I have to wake up next to you three idiots every day, I'll freak," Lucy said.
"No problem, we'll just stay on the roof," I said.
"How are you going to get up there? And someone could see or hear you three!" Lucy said.
"Heh, heh. You'd think we'd come to Venus-" Jen said.
"Um...this is Earth," Lucy said. Alex smirked.
"-come to Earth unprepared? We're not just flying creatures, but each have magical abilities in order to fight for our lives. Such as soundproof areas and invisibility techniques and other stuff," Jen corrected and finished.
"What about education?" Lucy asked.
"School? Pfft, we had that a few hundred years ago," I said.
"Hundred? How old are you guys?" Lucy said.
"Angel years or human years?" Alex said.
"Um..." Lucy replied.
"Let's see we're around 750 each...so that's...carry the 4...multiplied by 2 subtract 67...same age as you, 14, in human years," Alex said.
"Funny. I got 321," I said.
"Well, that proves you're stupid," Alex said.
"You're the stupid one!" I hissed.
"I think the girl who dropped out of high school is the stupid one," Alex retorted. I almost transformed into Eros to rip out his throat.
"BOTH OF YOU! SHUT UP!" Jen said, "We'll get going now." She grabbed me and Alex and pulled us by the ear onto the balcony.
"We can't leave, Lucy," I said, "Wait, we can't leave, right Jen?"
"Section 3, Rule 42: Once he or she has approval of Headmaster and has reached his or her subject, they are to stay with him or her until age 22," Jen read from her pocket guide.

Chapter 5 ~ Lucy
Waking up next to three random teenagers is not how you should start your day. I don't recommend it.
I was about to scream until the blonde girl clamped her hand over her mouth. She had this wild look in her eyes like a stray cat. Her eyes were a golden color. She made the quiet sign and grinned at me. I widened my eyes, but obeyed.
"Guys! She's not dead!" she said.
"Of course I'm not dead!" I yelled, "But you guys are trespassers! Fucked intruders! Possible kidnappers!"
"So, you're Lucy Cross, right?" the dirty-blond boy said.
"What? How do you know my name. Have you've been STALKING me?" I blurted. They raised their eyebrows.
"Um...I don't know if it would technically be called stalking," the brunette said. She stared at me with her green eyes.
"Ugh, we're getting off track. I'm Starla. The brunette's Jen. And this idiotic looking boy is Alex," the blonde girl said.
"That still doesn't explain why you're in my room," I retorted.
"Well, you see-" Alex started.
"And you!" I said, pointing at who should be Alex,"You KISSED me! Not that I'm complaining or anything-" I said.
"I told you, Nightwalker! I knew she would think that instead of CPR. This is what happens when no one listens to me!" Alex said.
"Not like you had any good ideas!" Starla said as she rushed at him. Then, the brunette intervened.
"Not again! Can you please have one peaceful day where both of you don't fight?" she begged.
"NO!!!" they both yelled.
"Hello? WHY WERE YOU PERFORMING CPR ON ME?!" I yelled. These people are really fucked up.
"Because we thought you died!" Starla hissed.
"Why were you in my room, then?" I asked. That's when I heard knocking on my door. The three nitwits bit their lips and went out on the balcony. Then, Mom opened the door.
"Mom!" I said loudly.
"Are you okay, Lucy? You were screaming," Mom said. Well, duh.
"Actually, I'm no okay. There's these three freakin' strangers-" I said. I need to watch my language.
"Strangers?" she said as she raised an eyebrow.
"Yes, strangers! Look! They went out onto...the...balcony?"I said. They were gone.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Mom asked again. I was too stunned to speak.
"I-I'm fine," I stammered. Mom smiled and left my room.I sighed. Maybe everything was fine. Maybe I'm just seeing things. Maybe...
"We're back!" the brunette (was her name Jen?) said.
"Damn..." I said.

Chapter 4 ~ Alex
I hope Lucy knew I was doing CPR that kissing her full on the lips.
"So...she wasn't dead?" I asked.
"Well, she wasn't dead before. She might have died out of fright, thanks to you," Starla said.
"Ah...no. Thanks to you. You told me to do CPR, so shut up, Nightwalker," I said.
"Why, you-" she started before Jen interfered.
"Enough with the DARN fighting!!!" she yelled. I stopped. But not because of Jen.
Knocking. "Lucy?" a woman said.
"Oh, Lord. Come on. We gotta get out of here!" Jen whispered. We scrambled onto the balcony and flew up to the roof. I poked my head out to see what happened.
"Oh, she's sleeping in today. She better not do this tomorrow," the woman said. The woman also had brown hair, but no purple streaks. She even had normal green eyes.
"Hey, why is the balcony open?" she said. She walked toward the balcony. Starla pulled my shirt collar. I bit her in response. She glared and motioned to be quiet. The woman looked out on the balcony and left. Thankfully, she didn't lock it. She left Lucy's room. Then, we silently flew down, opened the door, and peered closely at her.
